You’re Invited to TWO Great Pro-Life Events

Don’t miss this chance to meet Dr. Pat Castle, Founder and President of Life Runners. Dr. Castle will present his engaging look at “Pro-Life Apologetics ~ Converting Hearts and Minds” on Wednesday night, June 12th, 2019, from 7-9pm in the St. Mary’s Cathedral Hall. Then on Thursday, June 13, 2019, from 9-11am, he will offer expert Sidewalk Advocacy Training on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood (3480 Centennial Blvd) Dr. Castle is a regular prayer warrior and sidewalk counselor outside the abortion chamber of late-term abortionist Leroy Carhart in Nebraska.

Dr. Castle says, “We know, wisdom (the research) and compassion are needed to divert abortion determined mothers and bring post-abortion women to healing which prevents repeat abortions (45% of abortions are repeat).  We meet the abortion vulnerable mothers where they are at and bring them to real help, meeting needs in the order she will allow:  first serve her needs, then help her with the baby’s needs, and then her spiritual needs (mom, baby, God).  Our sidewalk advocacy is a two-way street for women going in and coming out of an abortion facility (to prevent repeat abortions).”

Dr. Castle even had a small part in the movie Unplanned. LIFE Runner teammate, Abby Johnson, invited Dr. Castle to play her evangelical pastor for a scene in “Unplanned” where he read the millstone Bible verse (Mt 18:6). It ended up on the cutting room floor, unfortunately, but you can see it here.  His scene was cut from the movie because that particular verse scripted from Abby’s book (by the same name) caused a sense of condemnation with some post-abortive mothers at the movie’s screenings.

Life Runners actually began in Colorado Springs when Dr. Castle was a professor at the USAFA. Since those early days of 12 pro-life teammates in the Fall of 2008, Life Runners has grown, largely because of Dr. Castle’s dogged persistence, leadership and fervor in spreading a compassionate pro-life message. There are now an amazing 11,000 teammates in 121 chapters, in all 50 states and in 38 countries. Team members (walkers and runners) united in spirit wear bold blue jerseys with white lettering: “REMEMBER the Unborn” (Jer 1:5) bearing public witness to the sanctity of life in a positive apostolate of prayer and running. This recent article from LifeSiteNews: highlighted Dr. Castle’s recent trip to the Holy Land, running in the footsteps of Christ.

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble,

it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck,

and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.” ~ Mt 18:6
