Earlier this month a teen girl in Nebraska allegedly murdered her newborn child. The responding police officer observed the child had a slit throat and multiple stab wounds to the chest.
The girl has been charged with first degree murder.
If she had been in Colorado, and had murdered the child a few hours earlier (i.e., before birth through an abortion which would have been just as gruesome as the scene the police officer discovered), there wouldn’t be any charges at all and she would have been applauded for exercising her “reproductive rights.”
The difference? Timing and location.
