The 46th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision has already brought some good news in that President Donald Trump, in a video appearance to the National March for Life in Washington, D.C., today, promised to veto legislation that “weakens the protection of human life” (as reported by LifeSiteNews).
Locally we have events as well for the Roe v. Wade anniversary. On Sunday Pikes Peak Citizens for Life will hold our annual Remembrance of Roe v. Wade (details on calendar). For this event we will provide a forum in which attendees can learn from each other about events and activities in the movement to overturn the mistaken Roe v. Wade decision.
Monday will bring our very own local version of the March for Life (see flyer). This march will begin at the local Planned Parenthood and end at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
We encourage you to participate in one or both local events and to celebrate the pro-life support from our president.
