Could Coloradans prevent abortion in our communities? That is the question people ask up and down the Front Range. In response to Denver’s extreme Reproductive Health Equity Act, which permits abortions for any reason performed by unlicensed and untrained persons through birth, local residents are joining together to say, not in our communities.
Last Monday, hundreds of people packed out Pueblo’s city council meeting to voice their opposition to an abortion facility opening with an out of state doctor under government investigation. LeRoy Carhart, the abortionist who wants to expand into Pueblo, specializes in second and third trimester procedures. No fewer than twenty-three women were transported to emergency rooms, and at least one woman died, following abortion procedures at abortionist LeRoy Carhart’s facilities.
Coloradans are hopeful to block LeRoy Carhart from doing abortion business in Colorado, based on the success of Sanctuary for the Unborn ordinances passed into law in sixty-one cities and counting. Can we make a Sanctuary for the Unborn in Colorado? Based on the model of the law passed in New Mexico, the answer is yes, we believe we can create Sanctuaries For the Unborn in Colorado by local ordinance. How? I am so glad you asked! We are having an organization meeting on November 21st from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Family Worship Center 3800 Parker Blvd. Pueblo, Colorado 81008. This gathering is open to the public.
If you want to partner with life saving legislation to save babies in Colorado please come to this meeting!
