A few weeks ago I made a post describing how thousands of aborted babies are incinerated in the UK as part of a waste-to-energy program used to heat hospitals.
LifeSiteNews.com has now reported that it is happening in the US as well.
As it turns out, the remains of babies as well as medical waste are shipped from British Columbia to the Covanta Marion waste-to-energy facility in Oregon. At the facility the material is incinerated to generate power for the grid.
Unlike the UK story, though, this report said nothing about stopping the practice of burning deceased humans for energy.
Repeating my conclusion from the earlier post, society has lost the sense of the sanctity of life. This loss, combined with an extreme utilitarianism, has led us to engage in practices even more efficient than the Nazi concentration camps.
It is time to defend life once again, and to demonstrate that defense in the way we handle other human beings, alive or dead.
