Lesson 1:   Veritology – What is Truth?

“What is truth?” (John 18:38)

That question may sound familiar, and simple enough to answer.  Webster’s Dictionary defines truth as “a transcendent fundamental or spiritual reality”; or “the property of being in accord with fact or reality”.

But these days, what one person or culture perceives as fact or reality may not be viewed as such by other persons or cultures.  In this relativistic society, what is absolute truth?   How does one test for Truth?

On Sunday evening, Sept. 12, you are invited to embark on a search for the answers to these questions in the first session of Focus on the Family’s The Truth Project.
